2014 yılı verilerine göre, Türkiye'de kadınlarda en sık görülen kanser türü meme kanseridir (43/100000).Tanı konulan her 4 kadın kanserinden 1'i meme kanseridir.Meme kanserinin tedavisi için klinikte kullanılan yöntemler; cerrahi tedavi, kemoterapi, radyoterapi, hormon tedavisi ve hedefe yönelik tedavidir.Doksorubisin, meme kanseri tedavisinde kullanılan en etkili kemoterapi ilaçlarından biridir.Doza bağlı toksisite, ilaca karşı direncin ortaya çıkması ve kanser hücrelerine karşı düşük seçiciliği,doksorubisinin klinikte kullanımını kısıtlamaktadır.Bu dezavantajları ortadan kaldırmaya yönelik yaklaşımların başında nanoteknoloji gelmektedir. |

According to 2014 data, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in Turkey.One out of every 4 women diagnosed with breast cancer.Currently available clinical procedures are surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy.Doxorubicin is an efficient chemotherapy drug usually used in breast cancer therapy.Dose dependent toxicity, drug resistance and low selectivity to cancer cells limit the use of doxorubicin in clinical practice.Nanotechnology is the leading approach to eliminate these disadvantages. |
