Edebiyat tarihçiliği, daha ziyade edebî eserleriyle tanınan bir sanatkâr olan Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar'ın farklı bir yönünü ortaya koymaktadır. Tanpınar'ın XIX. Asır Türk Edebiyatı Tarihi, yayınlandığı 1949 yılından bu yana devamlı ilgi gören ve otuzuncu baskısı yapılmaya hazırlanılan bir eserdir. Mütefekkir bir sanatkârın kaleminden çıktığı hemen hissedilen bu eser zengin içeriği ve devamlılığı esas alan bakış açısı ile dikkatleri üzerine çekmektedir. Edebiyat tarihçiliği alanında önemi ve özgünlüğü hakkında hemen her çevrenin hemfikir olduğu bu eser, henüz tez seviyesinde müstakil bir çalışmaya konu edilmemiştir. Bazı bilimsel makalelerde farklı yönleriyle ele alınmış olan Tanpınar'ın edebiyat tarihi, ilk kez tez seviyesinde ve bir bütün olarak incelenecektir. Bu çalışma ile Tanpınar'ın edebiyat tarihçiliği topluca ele alınarak, ilgili eserin ön plana çıkan yanları ve özellikle de metodik tutumu değerlendirilmeye çalışılacaktır. |

Literary historiography reveals a different aspect of Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, an eminent author who is better known for his literary works. Tanpınar's work, XIX. Asır Türk Edebiyatı Tarihi, the thirtieth edition of which is being prepared to be published, has attracted much interest since its publication in 1949. This work immediately understood to be penned by a mastermind, attracts a great deal of attention with its rich content and perspective based on continuity. Although the importance and the originality of the abovementioned work in the field of literary historiography is accepted by academia, it has not been studied as a separate subject at the thesis level. Tanpınar's literary history, which has been analyzed from different aspects in some academic articles, will be examined as a separate subject in this study for the first time at the thesis level. Accordingly, in this study, Tanpınar's literary historiography will be analyzed as a whole and the prominent aspects of the relevant work and especially its methodical attitude will be evaluated. |
