Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası; dünya ekonomik bunalımının etkilerinin Türkiye'deyoğun olarak görüldüğü bir önemde kurulmuş bir partidir. Yaklaşık üç buçuk ay gibi kısa birsüre yaşamasına karşın Türk Siyasal yaşamında son derece önemli bir yere sahiptir.Mustafa Kemal Paşa Türkiye'de çok partili demokratik düzene geçişi sağlamak içinpartinin kurulmasına bizzat teşvik etmiştir. Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası 12 Ağustos 1930tarihinde Mustafa Kemal Paşa'nın yakın arkadaşı Ali Fethi Bey tarafından kurulmuştur.Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası liberalizmi savunan bir parti programıyla siyasi hayataatılmıştır. Ayrıca Cumhuriyetçilik, Milliyetçilik ve Laiklik ilkeleri de partinin temel prensipleriarasında yer almıştır.Bu çalışmanın amacı Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkasının teşkilat yapısını, örgütlenişbiçimini ele almak değildir.Ancak Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkasının iktidar partisi olan Cumhuriyet Halk Fırkasınagetirdiği eleştiriler ve iktidarın geliştirdiği savunma söylemini ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. |

Liberal Republican Party (Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası) is a political party which wasestablished at a period when the effect of world economical crisis, was seen densely in Turkey.Although it continued its activities for only 3 and a half months, it has a very important placein Turkish political life.Mustafa Kemal Paşa himself encouraged is establishment to pass to a multi partydemocratic system. Liberal Republican Party (Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası) was set up in 12thAugust 1930 by Ali Fethi who was a close friend of Mustafa Kemal Paşa.Liberal Republican Party started its political life with a programme that defendsliberalism. Besides, principles of republicanism, nationalism and secularism are the mainprinciples of the party.The aim of my thesis is not handling the structure or the organization type of liberalRepublician party.The criticism of Liberal Republican Party (Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası) towards theRepublican Society Party which was the ruling party (Cumhuriyet Halk Fırkası) and defensearguments of the ruling party were tried to discussed. |
