Bu çalışmada, Anadolu Beylikleri Dönemi de dâhil edilerek Osmanlı'nın kuruluşundan itibaren yapılmış ve tercüme eserlerin, kültürel iktidar bağlamında incelemesi yapılmıştır. Osmanlı tercüme literatürünün, bir saray hamisinin özel sipariş ve emirleriyle oluşturulmuş tercüme eserlerine odaklanılmıştır. Yapılan kapsamlı tasnif sonucu eserler dînî; riyâzî, müşterek, tabiî ilimler ile dil ve edebiyat ilimleri şeklinde başlıklara ayrılmıştır. Bu başlıklar altındaki sipariş tercüme eserler grafiklendirilerek elde edilen sayısal veriler yorumlanmıştır. Kültürel iktidar bağlamında ilk dört ilim grubunun değerlendirmesi tezin ikinci bölümünü oluştururken, dil ve edebiyat tercümeleri, III. Ahmed'e kadar tahta geçen padişahlara göre başlıklandırılarak, takip eden bölümde değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Değerlendirmelere sadrazam; şeyhülislam, beylerbeyi, paşa ve farklı kademelerden ağaların siparişleriyle yapılan tercümeler de dâhil edilmiştir. Böylece Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun kültürel altyapısının oluşmasında, tercüme faaliyetlerinin saray yani iktidar tarafından nasıl araçsallaştırıldığı, siyasi ve kültürel politikalarda sürekliliğin sağlanması adına tercüme mekanizmasının kimler tarafından yürütüldüğü bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. |

In this study, translated works made in the Ottoman Empire were analyzed in the context of cultural power. The analyzes cover the period from the establishment of the Ottoman Empire to 1730, including the Anatolian Beyliks. It has been focused on the translation works created by special orders of a patron. As a result of the comprehensive classification, the works are divided into titles as; religious, social, positive, natural and language and literature sciences. Ordered translation works under these titles were graphed and the obtained numerical data were interpreted. While the evaluation of the first four science groups in the context of cultural power constitutes the second part of the thesis, language and literature translations are evaluated in the following part; by titled according to the sultans until Ahmed III. Translations made by the orders of grand vizier; sheikh-ul-islam, beylerbeyi, pasha and aghas from different ranks were also included in the evaluations. Thus, it is aimed to reveal how the translation activities were instrumentalized by the palace and the power; how and by whom the translation mechanism was carried out in order to ensure continuity in political and cultural policies, in the formation of the cultural infrastructure of the Ottoman Empire. |
