"In this edition, it is intended as an entry-level simulation text, most likely in a first course on simulation at the undergraduate or beginning graduate level. However, material from the later chapters could be incorporated into a second graduate-level course. The book can also be used to learn simulation independent of a formal course (more specifically, by Arena users).
