Kültürel miras toplumsal belleğin önemli bir parçasıdır. Bu bağlamda, toplumun kültür mirasının korunmasına ve tarihi değerlerinin gelecek nesillere aktarılmasına müzeler aracılık etmektedir. Müzelerde ve kültürel miras alanlarında sergilenen tarihi değerlerin topluma doğru şekilde aktarılmasında görsel iletişim tasarımı etkin rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, kültürel mirasın müzeler aracılığıyla tanıtılmasında görsel iletişim tasarımı açısından yaşanan problemler Arslantepe Höyüğü Açık Hava Müzesi örneği üzerinden ele alınmaktadır. Araştırmada literatür taraması, doküman incelemesi ve paydaşlarla (akademik uzmanlar, kazı başkanı, müze yetkilileri, lisans ve lisansüstü öğrenciler) yapılan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle Arslantepe Höyüğü Açık Hava Müzesi için görsel kimlik, bilgilendirme tasarımı uygulama alanlarından çevresel grafik tasarımı bağlamında tasarım önerisi sunulmaktadır. |

Cultural Heritage is an important part of social memory. In this context, museums mediate the protection of society's cultural heritage and the transfer of historical values to future generations. Visual communication design plays an active role in the accurate transfer of historical values exhibited in museums and cultural heritage sites to the society. In this thesis, the problems encountered in the promotion of cultural heritage through museums in terms of visual communication design are examined through the example of Arslantepe Mound Open Air Museum. Based on the findings of the literature review, document review, and semi-structured interviews with stakeholders (academic experts, excavation head, museum officials, undergraduate and graduate students), the study presents visual identity, information design and a design proposal is presented in the context of environmental graphic design from the application areas of information design. |
