Tez kapsamında mimarlık alanında son dönemde gelişen `yenilikçi? mimarlıklar tartışılmaktadır. `Yeni? olarak nitelendirilen mimarlıkların yenilik iddialarından bahsedilmekte ve yenilik olarak ne/yi ortaya koydukları tartışılmaya çalışılmaktadır. `Yeni? teknolojilerin ortaya çıkışı, moleküler biyolojinin, bilişim teknolojisinin hızlı gelişimi, sosyal ve ekonomik değişimler mimarlık disiplinine de yoğun bir şekilde yansımış, mimarlık anlayışının boyut değiştirmesine neden olmuştur. Tez kapsamında ilk olarak `yenilik? kavramı sorgulanmış ve `yenilikçi? mimarlık kavramları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bir sonraki bölümde, 20. yy. sonu, 21. yy. başında kendini `yeni? olarak tanımlayan mimarlıklar, mekân özellikleri, kuramsal ve felsefi bakış açıları, `yeni? anlayışları, tasarım yöntemleri ve tasarlanan biçimler açısından irdelenmektedir. Son dönemde `yeni? olarak kabul edilebilir çok sayıda mimarlık söz konusudur. Tez kapsamında, tasarım, tasarım süreci ve yöntemi açısından öncü mimari arayışlar sınıflandırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bunlar; Sanal Mimarlık, Sıvı Mimarlık, Transmimarlık, Sibermekân Mimarlığı, Hiperyüzey Mimarlığı, Bilim ? Kurgu Mimarlığı, Emergent (Oluşsal) Mimarlık (Genetik Mimarlık), Etkileşimli Mimarlık, Katlama - Kıvrım Mimarlığı, Kinetik Mimarlık ve Biyomimesis Mimarlıktır. |

In this thesis, recently developed `innovative? architectures have been discussed. With this, it is aimed to exhibit suggested innovations of those evolutions defined as `new? and to question what they put forth as such. The emergence of new technologies, fast development in molecular biology and information technologies, social and economic changes have found their reflections in architecture discipline, in that understanding of architecture has been changing dimensions. Within the thesis, initially the concept of `innovation? has been questioned and it has been tried to define `innovative? architecture concepts. In the following chapter, architectures defining themselves as `new? in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, space features, conceptual and philosophical perspectives, understandings for `new? have been explicated in points of design methods and designed forms. There are many architectures that can be regarded as `innovative? recently. In the thesis, leading architectural initiatives concerning design, design processes and designing techniques have been tried to be classified. Those would be; Virtual Architecture, Liquid Architecture, Transarchitecture, Architecture in Cyberspace, Hypersurface Architecture, Sci ? Fi Architecture, Emergent Architecture (Genetic Architecture), Interactive Architecture, Folding in Architecture, Kinetic Architecture and Biomimesis Architecture. |
