Denizler Altında Yirmi Bin Fersah – Kısaltılmış Metin. Okyanuslarda tuhaf bir karmaşa yaşanıyordu. Ne olduğu bir türlü tahmin edilemeyen devasa bir yaratık, gemilere çarpıyor, imkânsız hızlarla hareket edebiliyor, hatta denize ışık saçıyordu. O dönemin teknolojisi bunun insan yapımı bir araç olması için çok yetersizdi, bu nedenle ortak düşünce bu canavarın aşırı gelişmiş bir deniz gergedanı olduğuydu. Sonunda hayvanın yakalanması için bir gemi hazırlandı ve okyanusa açıldı. Ekipte doğa bilimci Pierre Aronnax ve yardımcısı ile ünlü balina avcısı Ned Land de yer alıyordu. Gemi günlerce denizlerde dolaştı, ancak hayvan ortada yoktu. Umutların tükendiği ve dönüş konuşmalarının yapıldığı noktada, dev deniz canavarı karşılarına çıktı. Ancak hiçbir şey düşündükleri gibi değildi ve asıl macera bu andan sonra başlayacaktı. Eğlenceli, heyecanlı, harika bir macera!.. |
