Bu çalışma, özne ile mekân (nesne) arasındaki dönüşümlü ilişkiyi merkezine alır. Mekânın yalnızca fiziksel bir varlık değil, bilginin doğası ve üretimi bağlamında epistemolojik bir olgu olduğunu kabul eder. Özneyle ilişkilenebilecek (Jung'un psikoloji kuramındaki) arketip, ego ve kompleks kavramlarını mekânsal bir bağlamda değerlendirerek; mekânın sembolik, estetik ve pragmatik işlevlerini yapılandırmak için araçsallaştırır. Özne-mekân ilişkisinde zihinsel ve kültürel etkenlerin rolü, Benjamin'in kültür endüstrisi, teknoloji ve kolektif beden kavramları ışığında değerlendirilir. Mekânın özne ile olan ilişkisinde tarihsel süreklilik ve zamansal kırılmalarını, bir yeniden okuma bahanesi olarak kabul eder. Bu çerçevede oluşturulan kuramsal yapı, Parc de la Villette ve Disneyland Paris örnekleri üzerinden incelenir. Parc de la Villette, yapısökümcü yaklaşımdan beslenen deneyimsel ve eleştirel bir tasarım kurgusu içerisinde; Disneyland Paris ise kültürel imgelerin tüketim nesnesine dönüşümü bağlamında okunur. Bu çalışma, mekânı özne ile fiziksel varlığının yanı sıra sembolik ve toplumsal bir üretim alanı olarak ele alır. Özne, mekan ve zaman arasındaki bu çok katmanlı ilişki, günümüz kapsamında psikanalitik kuram, kültür eleştirisi, göstergebilim gibi eksenlerde bir araya getirilerek yeniden yorumlanmasına dair düşünsel bir zemin önerir.<br/> |

This study centers on the reciprocal relationship between subject and space (object). It assumes that space is not merely a physical entity but also an epistemological phenomenon shaped by the nature and method of knowledge production. Drawing from Jung's psychological concepts of archetype, ego, and complex, these notions are instrumentalized in a spatial context to construct the symbolic, aesthetic, and pragmatic functions of space. The role of mental and cultural factors in the subject-space relationship is examined through Benjamin's concepts of the culture industry, technology, and collective body. Historical continuity and temporal ruptures in this relationship are approached as opportunities for reinterpretation. The theoretical framework is explored through two case studies: Parc de la Villette and Disneyland Paris. While Parc de la Villette is interpreted within a deconstructivist, experiential, and critical design approach, Disneyland Paris is analyzed in the context of the transformation of cultural imagery into objects of consumption. This study ultimately defines space as both a physical and symbolic socio-cultural construct, offering a theoretical basis to reinterpret the subject-space-time relationship through such as psychoanalysis, cultural critique, and semiotics. |
