Deneysel Mimarlığın, mimarlıktaki eğitsel etkisini gündeme getiren bu çalışma, deneysel anlayışla yürütülen mimarlık etkinliklerinin mimarlık ortamının gelişiminde önemli rol oynadığını ileri sürer. Mimarlık ortamının gelişiminin sürdürülmesinde, Deneysel Mimarlığın sürekli bir eğitim ortamı sağladığını savlar. Bu sav doğrultusunda, Deneysel Mimarlığı mimarlık eğitimi bağlamında mimari tasarım stüdyoları özelinde ele alır. Mimarlık eğitiminin merkezinde bulunan mimari tasarım stüdyosunun Deneysel Mimarlık anlayışı doğrultusunda kurgulanmasının, eğitimin etkinliğini nasıl arttırdığını ve mimarlık ortamının gelişimine nasıl katkı koyduğunu ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlar. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, Deneysel Mimarlığa ilişkin kapsamlı bir bilgi altyapısı oluşturur. Söz konusu bilgi altyapısı, deneysel mimarlığın kavramsal yapısına ilişkin araştırmaları, pratik ve akademik ortamdaki deneysel mimarlık etkinliklerine ilişkin incelmeleri ve deneysel mimarlık anlayışıyla işleyen mimari tasarım stüdyolarının kurgularına ilişkin irdelemeleri kapsar. Bu bilgi altyapısının oluşumu boyunca yapılan araştırmalara, incelemelere ve irdelemelere referansla, tez temel olarak mimari tasarım stüdyosunun deneysel mimarlık anlayışı doğrultusunda geliştirilmesinin gerekliliğini tartışır. Bu tartışmanın sürekliliğinde ise, Deneysel Mimarlık anlayışıyla işleyen bir mimari tasarım stüdyosu kurgusu oluşturulmasına yönelik öneriler ortaya koyar. Bahsi geçen önerilerin geliştirilmesi ise, Gazi Üniversitesi Mimarlık Bölümü'nde çalışmalarını sürdüren Atölye 1 ile etkileşim içinde gerçekleştirilir. Tezde oluşturulan bilgi altyapısına ve Atölye 1'in stüdyo kurgusuna referansla, Deneysel Mimarlık anlayışla işleyen bir stüdyonun içeriğine, know-how üretimine, sürecine ve ürünlerine ilişkin kurgular ele alınır.

Bringing up the educational impact of experimental architecture, this study asserts that architectural events carried out through experimental approach plays an important role on the development of the architectural environment. It claims that experimental architecture provides a continuous learning environment for architecture. Accordingly, it deals with the architectural design studios in the context of architectural education. By this way, it aims to reveal how architectural education gears up and how the progress of architecture is provided through editing of the architectural design studios through experimental architecture approach. For this purpose, it constitutes a comprehensive knowledge infrastructure concerning Experimental Architecture. This knowledge infrastructure involves the researches concerning the conceptual structure of experimental architecture, the observations concerning the experimental architectural events both in the practical and academic environment and the examinations on the studio editings of several architectural design studios that process in the conception of experimental architecture. Referring in this researches, observations and examinations, the thesis basically discusses the necessity of editing architectural design studios through experimental architecture approach. In continuity with this discussion, it puts forth some proposals intended to constitute a model of an architectural design studio processing through experimental architecture conception. This proposals are developed in interaction Atelier 1 in the architectural department of Gazi University. Referring to the knowledge infrastructure that developed in the thesis and the studio models of Atelier 1, it deals with the models of the architectural design studio that process through experimental architecture conception, concerning the content, the know-how production, the process and the products of the studio.
