Bu yüksek lisans tezinde, Rusya Federasyonu- Ukrayna Savaşı'nın NATO'nun güvenlik stratejileri üzerindeki etkisi tehdit kavramı çerçevesinde incelenmektedir. NATO, Müttefikleri'nin özgürlüğünü ve güvenliğini tehditlere karşı anında cevap vererek güvence altına almayı taahhüt eden siyasi- askeri bir kuruluştur. NATO'nun amacını, görevlerini ve sorumluluklarını her zaman uluslararası güvenlik ortamı belirlemiştir. En önemli amaç ve sorumluluğu, her tür tehdide karşı toplu savunma imkânı sunmak olmuştur. NATO, uluslararası ilişkilerde yaşanan gelişmelere ve algılanan tehditlere Stratejik Konseptler'i sayesinde yanıt vermiştir. NATO'nun güvenlik politikalarındaki değişim temel olarak NATO 2030 Raporu ve NATO 2022 Stratejik Konsept'i çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Rusya Federasyonu- Ukrayna Savaşı oluşturduğu tehdit ile NATO'nun güvenlik stratejilerinde önemli değişikliklere neden olmuştur. Bunun sonucunda Rusya Federasyonu- Ukrayna Savaşı'nın İttifak nezdinde yeni bir Stratejik Konsept ile Doğu Avrupa'da artan güvenlik tehditleri karşısında daha etkin bir savunma stratejisi benimsemesine neden olduğu çıkarımı yapılmıştır.

This master's thesis examines the impact of the Russia-Ukraine War on NATO's security strategies within the framework of the concept of threat. NATO is a political-military organization committed to safeguarding the freedom and security of its Allies by responding swiftly to threats. The purpose, mission, and responsibilities of NATO have always been shaped by the international security environment. Its most crucial aim and responsibility have been to provide collective defense against all forms of threats. NATO has responded to developments in international relations and perceived threats through its Strategic Concepts. The changes in NATO's security policies are primarily evaluated within the framework of the NATO 2030 Report and the NATO 2022 Strategic Concept. The threat posed by the Russian Federation- Ukraine War has led to significant changes in NATO's security strategies. As a result, it is concluded that the Russia-Ukraine War has led the Alliance to adopt a more effective defense strategy in response to increasing security threats in Eastern Europe with a new Strategic Concept.
