520			_aBu tezde XIV.-XVII. yy. dönemi Çağatay sahasında yazılmış mensur eserlerden örnekler incelenmiştir., Çalışmamız, giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında Türkçe'nin bir kolunu oluşturan Çağatay Türkçesi'nin edebî bir yazı dili olma süreci konusunda bilgi verilmiştir. Ayrıca genel olarak edebî dil kavramı üzerinde durulmuş ve Çağatay sahasında başlangıçtan XVII. yy.'a kadarki dönemde nesrin durumu ile ilgili genel bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Çağatay kelimesinin ortaya çıkışı, Çağatayca'nın gelişme tarihi boyunca geçirdiği devirler ve edebî dile dönüşümü sürecindeki Nevaî'nin rolü ile ilgili değerlendirmeler yer almaktadır. ikinci bölümde seçilen mensur örnekler yüzyıllara göre sıralanmıştır. Örneklere geçmeden önce her yüzyılın siyasî, sosyal ve kültürel durumundan söz edilmiştir. Seçilen mensur parçalardaki Türkçe, Arapça ve Farsça unsurların oranı tespit edilmiş ve elde edilen bilgiler tablo ve grafiklerle gösterilmiştir. Bu eserlerdeki edebî nesir dilinin önemli unsurlarından olan mecazlı, seçili söyleyişler, atasözleri ve deyimlere örnek verilmiştir. Özellikle Çağatay sahası nesrinin gelişiminde önemli rol oynamış ve kilometre taşı sayılan eserler daha geniş bir şekilde anlatılmıştır.
520			_aIn this thesis examples of prose works written in Chagatay Literature between XIV and XVII centuries were searched. The thesis consisted of introduction and two sections. In introduction information about process in which Chagatay Turkish became a literary language was given. We also emphasized the meaning of literary language. Consequanlly we gave general information about prose works -in Chagatay Literature from the beginning till the 1 lu century. In the first section of work there is some information about arising of term Chagatay, periods of historical Improvement of Chagatay Language and the observations about Nevai's role in the process of being literary language are mentioned. In the second section the examples of prose works were shown according to the. centuries in which they were written. There are short introduction before every century's works, which give general information about political, social and cultural situation in each period. All information about proportion of Turkish, Arabic and Persian words taking place in the selected text, were shown in tableaus and graphics. Also, examples of metaphor, seci, proverbs and phrase 1 verbs from the texts as important parts of literary prose language were given. In this paper works which especially take an important part in the Chagatay prose were searched deeply.
