Since 2015, voluntary donation has been announced as the only legitimate venue for organ transplant in China. As cardiac death is adopted in China, the donation mode is different from those in other countries where brain death is adopted. It offers transplant surgeons and physicians valuable information on optimal practice proposal for organ donation after cardiac death in China.
